Logan Square offers a cool approach to modern furnishings with a hip urban aesthetic.
Inspired by urban living spaces, Bernhardt Loft is an evolving lifestyle brand featuring a range of casegoods and coordinating upholstery.Logan Square is the brand’s second iteration, with darker finishes, sleek profiles, sharp geometrics and luxe leathers. The look is sophisticated and edgy, combining modern minimalism with a cool retro sentiment and 70s revival style.
“Bernhardt Loft was a big hit when the brand launched in April,” says Heather Eidenmiller, Director of Brand Development. “Logan Square moves the brand forward with a look that still has a casual, urban aesthetic, but the mood is a little darker. These pieces are more sophisticated than the first collection. It’s luxury for smaller spaces.”
The Logan Square collection blends architectural structure, clean lines, minimal hardware and asymmetrical compositions with organic forms, natural rattan and raffia, textural details and distressed pine in a rich palette of Sable Brown and Cinder. Geometric, diamond and herringbone patterns highlight tonal contrasts and imperfections in the wood, while cast concrete, open frames and gleaming metals suggest a metropolitan cityscape.
Upholstery is low profile in a selection of rich leathers, designed with sleek silhouettes and simple frames.
“Logan Square also has more drama,” says Eidenmiller. “The pieces are smaller in scale, but incredibly stylish. It’s a lot of look. One of my favorite pieces is the Amherst Credenza featuring a large metal inset circle against the deep Sable Brown finish. There’s also a gathering table in this collection, offering varied seating heights for dining. Another great piece is the multi-functional Reilly Console Table. It’s built with a metal gallery along the back edge and when paired with the Meade Counter Stools, it can double as a bar.”
